What is the NRL?

The National Robotics League (NRL) was a program developed by the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA) to allow hands on learning in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics for students. The website shows the NRL mission and workforce, as well as important information and important events. Participants of this event are meant not only to learn the skills required to build a robot, but also communication, teamwork, and leadership.

The students and competitors are meant to face off in a Battlebots style competition, fighting other robots with their own using strict rules to ensure fairness and creativity.

The NRL wishes for every student in the United States of America to understand, explore and consider manufacturing as a career option through this exciting and real-life experience, providing hands-on learning through education and business that will hopefully spark interest and build up the current and future workforce needed by manufacturing.
